PHYSICIAN CONSULTATION SERVICES FOR VISITORS -PROVIDED FOR THE BENEFIT OF COMMUNITY (ONLY FOR NON-US CITIZENS)

Purpose - This program is designed to help visiting parents and others who need to consult a physician during their stay in the United States or Canada for minor medical problems or pre-existing ailments such as Diabetic, Blood Pressure, Pain management etc. or refilling prescription. This service is provided for the benefit of the community and NOT A PART OF HEALTH INSURANCE PROGRAM SPONSORED BY INDIA NETWORK. Anyone can make use of the services under this program. No insurance is required. However, India Network Membership is required.

Who Provide these Services - India Network Foundation requires that all participating physicians in this program are well experienced, actively Licensed to practice Medicine in the United States, and preferably speak one or more India Languages.

Consultation Fee: $35 (non-refundable) consultation fee will be charged for the service. All visitors requesting consultation have to complete consultation form. A participating Physician will contact the visitor either by email or by Phone as determined by the Physician within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the request (excluding holidays/weekends). If a visitor wishes to see the physician in his/her office, consultation fee of $55 will be charged at the participating doctors office if one available near to them.  There is NO Insurance Billing under this program.

India Network makes every effort to refer patients to the physicians closest to their temporary residence in the United States where they are visiting their family and friends.

  1. Acute Bronchitis
  2. Sinusitis & Rhinitis (Hay Fever)
  3. Common Cold and Cough
  4. Vomiting
  5. Diarrhea
  6. Non Migrainous Stress Headache
  7. Sprains and Strains.
  8. Pharyngitis & Strep Throat
  9. Migraine Headaches
  10. PMS
  11. Allergic Asthma (not Asthma Attacks)
  12. Mild to Moderate Hypertension (not Uncontrolled, Severe Hypertension)
  13. Mild to Moderate Diabetes (not Uncontrolled or Insulin Dependant Diabetes)
  14. Urinary Tract Infections
  15. Back Pain / Acute Lumbar Strain
  16. Nonspecific Urethritis / STD’s (not HIV)
  17. Stomach Flu or Food Poisoning
  18. Gastritis / GERD
  19. Diabetic Management
  20. Asthma Management
  21. ………and much more.

The fee for online consultation is set at $25 (non-refundable).  An Assigned Physician will get back to you within 24 to 48 hours either by email or by phone as required during weekdays.
